DECLARATION & PARENTAL CONSENT (if applicable)
Held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the Standing Regulations and Supplementary Regulations issued for the meeting.
In consideration for being permitted to participate in this event I declare as follows:
Entry declaration:

I / we the undersigned apply to enter the event described above and in consideration thereof:

I / we hereby declare that I / we have had the opportunity to read, and that I / we understand the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the ACU/SACU Standing Regulations, such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them.

I / we further declare that I am / we are physically and mentally fit +to take part in the event and I am / we are competent to do so

I / we confirm that I / we understand the nature and type of event we are entering and its inherent risks and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers or officials.

I / we confirm that the machine(s) as described below which I / we compete on shall be suitable and proper for the purpose.

I / we confirm that if any part of the event takes place on a public highway, the machine(s) described below shall be insured as required by the Road Traffic Acts, or equivalent legislation, and that it / they will comply with the regulations in respect thereof.

I / we agree that I am / we are required to register our arrival by "signing on" at the designated place not less than 30 minutes prior to commencement of my/our practice or first competition, whichever occurs first.

Acknowledgement of the risks of motorsport:

“I / we understand that by taking part in this event I / we are exposed to a risk of death, becoming permanently disabled or suffering some other serious injury and I / we acknowledge that even in the event that negligence on the part of the ACU/SACU , the promoter, the organising club, the venue owner, or any individual carrying out duties on their behalf were to be a contributory cause of any serious injury I / we may suffer, the dominant cause of any serious injury will always be my / our voluntary decision to take part in a high risk activity.”

“I confirm that I am not currently suspended from ACU/SACU permitted competition or on the ACU/SACU Stop List as a result of concussion injury”

“I undertake to notify the club of any recent (within the last 23 days) concussion injury and will produce a doctor’s note to state I am able to compete in the event”. The Doctors note to state “The rider is no longer suffering the consequences of concussion”.

For riders suffering a concussion at an event this will be recorded on the Stewards Report form. Clubs should notify the office of riders suffering concussion as soon after the event as possible – where it will be noted on their licence form.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS (please keep this info)
DATE: 22/23 October 2022
VENUE: Woodheads Farm, Lauder, TD2 6RS
DIRECTIONS:
From Lauder town hall: head south on A68, turn right after police station and continue through housing estate and and follow road out of estate and past the cemetery. Continue past Woodheads Farm and follow orange arrows to event entrance.
OVERNIGHT PARKING:
Overnight parking/camping is permitted at the event. Follow above directions to event. All generators must run on environmental mat, to be switched off by 10pm, and no bikes to be started between 8pm on Saturday evening and 8am Sunday morning. NO bike to be ridden in the parking area.
TIMINGS:
Please proceed to the signing on tent on arrival. Signing on will start at the times below and once signed on you will be given a wristband for the practice day you have paid for. If you are taking part on both days you will receive 2 separate wristbands for Saturday and Sunday. There is no need for you to sign on again the next day. Just proceed to the starting gate after 10am, show your Sunday wristband and enter the track. It is your responsibility to wear your wristband, failure to do this will prevent you from being allowed to enter the track.
Track Opening Times: Saturday: 8am for youths and 11am for adults. Track closes at 4pm
Sunday: 10am for all riders. Track closes at 4pm
HELMETS:
Only gold or silver A.C.U. current stamped helmets should be worn. Helmet and body cameras are not permitted. Cameras secured to bikes are permitted.
I.D. DISCS:
Must be worn giving name, date of birth and blood group if known.
CONCUSSION:
I undertake to notify the club of any recent (within the last 23 days) concussion injury and will produce a doctor’s note to state I am able to compete in the event. Include a Doctor’s note stating “The rider is no longer suffering the consequences of concussion”.
